Motherhood is a beautiful contradiction, and life - like faith - is often messy. I created Grace Over Granola to replace mom-guilt with grace. We weren’t meant to live in fear of not measuring up or crying on the kitchen floor. This isn’t a place for perfection; it’s a space for real stories, encouragement for the weary, and practical intentionality. Whether you’re thriving or just survived the day, remember: your worth isn’t found in your productivity, your parenting, your homemade bread, or whether you remembered to thaw the chicken. Pull up a chair, friend. I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome
I’m Sophie - a mother, writer, musician, and coffee lover walking with Jesus. As a single mom raising a spirited, curious little boy, I’m constantly learning that His grace is enough for the everyday chaos. My son is my greatest teacher in patience and surrender. This space is for the women who love the idea of intentional living and faith-filled traditions, but often find it hard to keep it all together.
I truly admire the moms who master sourdough and gardening with endless energy. Meanwhile, I’m often in my pajamas past noon, wondering where the snacks went. While I value nutrition and slow living, my reality occasionally includes frozen nuggets, and more often than not, I'm running five minutes late.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
- 2 Corinthians 12:9
